What does VVS mean?
VVS stands for “Very Very Slightly Included” and refers to the clarity of a moissanite stone. Clarity describes the presence, or absence, of tiny internal characteristics known as inclusions.
A VVS-grade moissanite contains inclusions that are extremely difficult to detect, even under magnification. To the naked eye, the stone appears completely clean and clear, allowing light to pass through uninterrupted for maximum brilliance.
At this level of clarity, inclusions have no impact on the visual appearance or performance of the stone. This is why VVS is considered one of the highest clarity grades available and is favoured for fine jewellery where precision and visual purity matter.

GRA (Gemological Research Association) certification confirms that a moissanite stone has been examined for key characteristics such as cut, colour grade, clarity, and authenticity. It ensures the stone meets recognised standards and is genuinely moissanite.
IGI (International Gemological Institute) is one of the world’s most established gemological laboratories, widely respected within the jewellery industry. IGI certification provides a detailed assessment of a stone’s quality and specifications through professional gemological analysis.
